About a year ago we approached Director of Photography, Andrew Barrera, with a video idea we had for our song, “Skin & Heart & Lungs”. After several meetings and discussions, Andrew came back with a suggestion. He said, if we’re going to do this, lets do something special. He suggested a trilogy video of three different songs, each one melding into the next but each standing on its own. We knew right away that we needed strict direction to make sure we could make it all work and keep the story in line, so we brought in Director, Wes Evans and began meetings to orchestrate and plan everything.
All of a sudden, what was a simple music video, had turned into a massive undertaking involving a cast of 15, 13 crew members, more than 10 locations, 3 days of shooting and a laser focused vision to combine 3 separate songs into one cohesive story while retaining their individuality. Much more to come but below are some of the story boards. All by the talented illustrator, Miguel Coronado III. See his contact details below and stay tuned for more behind the scenes footage and interviews.

It’s absolutely overwhelming. Thanks to you guys, we succeeded at meeting the deadline for securing the funds for our new album on PledgeMusic! If you missed it, you can still pledge here. Now that we’ve hit the goal, 20% of the funds will be donated to the Trevor Project, an organization aimed at preventing suicide in LGBTQ youth.
In celebration of the completion of our campaign, we have released a new video for “Open Air,” featuring footage from our Midwest tour earlier this year. Thanks to our good friend Kristi Hanusch for the wonderful job filming and editing. We had a blast on this trip and it feels incredible to look back on it, so we hope you enjoy it too!

For the past few years, we have been writing, re-writing, rehearsing, demoing, and building up a body of songs that we are excited about. We are FINALLY gearing up and preparing to go back into the studio to bring you our second full-length album. The only thing left is YOU! Help us record this new album by pledging towards our Pledge Music campaign. With just a small pledge, you can get the album before anyone else and be a vital part of making it happen! Allow us to explain what is happening with this quick video!
Check it out, pledge what you can, and share it with your friends!
Our January is a wee bit on the busy side!
We have our 8 shows in 10 days run through the midwest, then we come home and play at the Mohawk on Jan 20 the day we get back from tour. If you’re in Austin, come support our homecoming – we’ll be ready to celebrate the end of our first midwest run, and we’ll be so happy to see your familiar shining faces!
Then on Jan 25 is a special event that we’re really excited about: an acoustic performance and live taping at the Recording Conservatory of Austin. Due to space availability in the studio, exactly 25 tickets are available. Dinner will be catered and it’s BYOB. On top of all of that, YOU get to pick your price when you buy the ticket! https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=Q8Z4J8QXVGG7J
On Jan 31, we will be doing yet another unique event at the Blackheart. We will be joining forces with a theater group called The Exchange Artists to present a performance of “Golden Boy” by Clifford Odets with Language Room providing the accompanying score and after party. It will be yet another interesting way to shake up your concert-going experience and see Language Room in a completely different setting.
So that’s our January! Come to any and all of these great shows. After this we’ll be in hiding until mid March to get ready for the newest addition to the LR family! (By the way, Baby Sapio is a boy!)
